Ian White – Synod Secretary

Synod secretary since September 2016, I am by profession a Solicitor, now non practising.

As Synod Secretary, I automatically have a place as a representative for the District at the Methodist Conference. An active Local Preacher, I work for the District in roles relating to building Mission and Ministry Teams, District Projects and also supporting Circuits on coordinating the sale of properties.

I live in Lawton Heath End near Church Lawton with wife Judith and have two grown up daughters and three grandchildren.

Music is very important – mainly piano but also pipe organ and more recently even the flute!
